Ruby - First Born First Female
Ruby is the first born at 3:15am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. She is one of 2 females in this litter. Her coloration is Brown Sable w/White (pronounced stripes behind left shoulder) Black-Brown patches on both Eyes.

Her nature is clearly the sweetest in the crowd and she is gaining popularity in the looks dept. Ruby wins hands down as being our escape artist. Her aka is Houdini. She, along with her sister, prefers her solitude to that of her brothers. She infuriates her mother for some reason, opting to tease her incessantly. She receives the most punishment of all her siblings.

Ruby, now Dora, left with her new owner Kathleen Kulig of Chicopee, MA, who asked (quite nonchalantly, I might add) "hey, Vic, can you cut us a break on 2?" as they were leaving to go grab breakfast before signing over papers.  I was floored!  How cool is that to have 2 of our pups go to the same cool family?  Dora & Diego are now stylin' in a nice house with a big fenced yard bordering a 15-acre forest preserve.  They have a Golden Lab who's 5-yrs old showin' them the ropes.

  ARBY - 3rd Born 2nd Male

Arby is the third born at 5:30am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. He is one of 4 males in this litter. His coloration is Brindle w/White (patch Right Eye, little brown spot behind head, little black spot Left Ear, wrench shape on left thigh)

He likes to express himself. He was the first to bark out loud and open his eyes. Although Arby has a soft side, he will hold his own no problem with his siblings. He is as equally bulky as our pick of the litter. Arby will let us know if we’re late with moving the crowd from their indoor night night/play area to their outdoor kennel. He is also in charge of letting us know when it’s time for meals as he is one of the heartiest eaters. Plays well with the kids in the neighborhood and is popular due to his all-out cuteness.

Arby left Sunday, 4/17, with his new owner Sarah Kulig of Chicopee, MA.  His new name is Diego and he was lucky enough to have his sister Ruby (now Dora) go along too.  Sarah's mom, Kathleen, came along for the ride to help her pick him out and was taken with Ruby.  So, until Sarah's move to her new home is complete, they'll all be staying at her Mom's until the new place is ready.  Right now they're bordering on a 15-acre forest preserve where both dogs can run with their new-found 5-yr old Golden Lab cousin.  Sorry, ladies, forgot his name ... shame on me!  Already received cool email pix of them snugglin'.

Outback - 5th Born 4th Male
Outback is the fifth born at 9:15 am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. He is one of 4 males in this litter. Like our pick-of-the-litter, his coloration is All White (w/black to brown patch Left Eye, little brown patch left ear)

Outback started our naming trend as he was born out back. He sparked the idea to name the pups after fast food restaurants. He is extremely outgoing, postures himself and is inquisitive too. He enjoys a good scuffle with his sister Wendy; he seems to gravitate toward her a lot even though she does not reciprocate the feelings. Outback is, in my opinion, the most handsome of all of the pups, spitting image of sire, Hammer. He believes he looks good. He’ll hold his own with everyone often times picking the fights, especially feisty before bed … an indicator of a great watch dog. He is a very bulky male and Outback also has a fondness for kissing. He loves to sleep in one spot near the shed that is a perfect triangle to the upper part of his body. It’s pretty funny. When we can’t find him, that’s where we look.

Outback’s personal favorite as an all-around unique pup.  He now has a wonderful home right around the corner from us so we'll be able to watch him grow.  His name is now Diesel and he's owned by an 11-yr. old young lady named Kayla who we expect is a budding show-handler.  Diesel has all of the makings of a great show dog.  He sleeps in bed between Mom & Dad (Nancy & Joe), Kayla's parents and gets along great with his new cousin, a Yorky owned by Kayla's brother Joe.

BK is the second born at 5:15am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. He is one of 4 males in this litter. His coloration is All White (dark lumbar spot & dark triangle shaped spot at tail base) and bright blue eyes, however, they've changed color and are now dark greenish brown.  He's our unanimous PICK OF THE LITTER. We had trouble deciding at first (even though we knew early on he was most likely the choice) … we threw a little puppy party and allowed the guests to decide. It was hands down, BK.

He is the first to take on any new assignment showing early on his bravery. First to wean, first to venture away from his mom, first to fight, biggest, bulkiest, wrinkliest, tuffy of them all. BK has a soft side too. He has displayed his tenderness and willingness to play with our back door neighbor’s children, Madeline and her little brother Aiden; the next door neighbor’s twin boys, Nick & James as well as their older sister Miranda. He and his siblings have had playtime to ensure their understanding of little folks and how much fun they can be.

BK is chuck full of personality, feistiness & bulky bully looks.  He's definitely going to be a great addition to someone's life, that's for sure.

SOLD

Mickey D - 4th Born 3rd Male

Mickey D is out of dam Tate’s Marcella bred by Stephen Tate of SC X sire Huggins’ J the Hammer Davis bred by Shamba Huggins of CT, owned by Victoria Gosselin and Jeffrey Davis of CT

Mickey D is the fourth born at 6:00am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. He is one of 4 males in this litter. His coloration is Brindle w/White (patch Left Eye, wrench shape on left thigh and all white right ear … only way we can tell him apart from Arby)

He is outgoing and likes to follow you anywhere. Like BK, Mick’s one of the first on any investigation scene. He, like all of his littermates, will hold his own no problem during any scuffle. He is not as bulky the rest of the pups as he seems to be more inquisitive and busy during dinner time. Mickey D is an avid kisser, lots of love coming from his way. He cannot contain himself when it comes to playing with the kids in the neighborhood, and is also popular with the kids due to his all-out cuteness.

Mickey D left in a gorgeous Volvo on Sunday with his new owner, Ben Silverman of Worcester, MA.  Ben, unfortunately, just lost his beloved Ambull to a rare form of bone cancer ... a dog he was awarded for boosting his grades.  We're fairly certain Mickey can help him recover from his loss ... we know he'll sure try.

Wendy - AVAILABLE

Wendy is the last born at 9:30am 4/22/07 and maybe only litter of 6 to Marcy. She is one of 2 females in this litter. Her coloration is Slanted Brown Sable Shoulder Stripe w/Butt Stripe over White (lumbar circle-shaped patch between the stripes) brown to black patch Left Eye.

Wendy
WendyFront.jpg

She takes no prisoners with her brothers; she’ll take on two at once in wrestling or all out fighting dept. She, along with her sister, prefers her solitude to that of her brothers. She is quiet and sweet, often opting for naps rather than busy fun investigations and has yet to infuriate either parent. She will always be the first in line for meals and is the largest in equal size to her brothers BK (pick-of-the-litter) and Arby. Wendy has not had to be scolded at all as she has already displayed wonderful manners as she keeps to herself.

We have confidence that Wendy will make a loving pet or an equally hard-working farmer when necessary, considering her bulk. She is a unique dog who carries herself gracefully in a way that may end up with her staying with us as part of our family. We have not yet made a decision with regard to Wendy.  She has had several interested parties who were not the right fit for her and we will not let any pup go to the wrong home.
